Porlock Weir is just 1.5 miles west of the inland village of Porlock, A historic and picturesque hamlet centred around the harbour. The moment you arrive at Porlock Weir you will feel a sense of relief as the stresses of modern life evaporate! Something to do with the rugged nature of the moorland which tumbles directly to the rocky seashore, or perhaps it’s the gentle waves that lap the pebble beach that wash away your worries.
